Why just one flat price?

The people who built DateSteady were tired of dating apps that bury the real cost behind a wall of choices: one price for three months, another for six, another for a year, then coins for virtual gifts and paper flowers nobody ever holds. So we stopped. DateSteady has one free plan and one paid plan at $19.99 a month. That is the whole list. Inexpensive. Nothing complicated. No tiers to compare, no countdown discounts, nothing virtual to buy for a person you have not met. We would rather your money went to a real dinner, a real coffee, a real evening out with a real person.

Why price in USD when DateSteady is Canadian?

We are proudly Canadian, however, we needed a single reference so the price is the same everywhere, and USD is the most widely used standard. Your bank or app store converts it to your local currency automatically.

Your VIP membership renews on its own

When you start VIP, you agree to a subscription that keeps going until you stop it. Every month, on the same date you started, your payment method is charged $19.99 USD again. This carries on until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time, and you do not need to give a reason.

Prices can change. If we change the price of your subscription, we will tell you in advance by email or a notice in your account. You can cancel before the next renewal if you do not want to pay the new price.

Is there a free trial?

No. You can use the free plan without entering a card, for as long as you like. You either stay on the free plan or start VIP at the price above, whenever it feels right.

How to cancel

Open Membership in your dashboard and choose Cancel Subscription. You can reach Membership from the sidebar, or from the Manage Membership link at the bottom of any page. DateSteady is billed on this website, so that is the only place you need to go. You do not need to give a reason, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period you are in. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.

Refunds

Charges are generally not refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for a period you have only partly used, except where the law requires one.

If you think you were charged by mistake email support@datesteady.com within 30 days of the charge and we will look into it.

None of this takes away rights you already have under the consumer law where you live. Those rights still apply, and where your local law gives you a stronger right than this page describes, your local law wins.

Prices in your local currency

Your price is set in US dollars, and that is the amount you are charged. If your card or account is in another currency, the amount you see on your statement is worked out by your payment provider using its own exchange rate on the day of billing, so it can move a little from month to month.

Join for free, look around at your own pace, and add VIP only if it feels right.
